I had linked to the comment someone left that suggested I write to google seeking reinclusion, and I followed that, only changing the subject of the email to “inclusion request” instead of “reinclusion request”. The reply seemed to have been typed by a human, to the effect that he will forward the request to a technical guy.

I’ve been watching your predicament with a great deal of interest because I’m experiencing the same problem with a site I’m running, and I’ve had no success by submitting a reinclusion request through the feedback form. I haven’t even received a response.

How did you submit the request that finally wound up being successful? Did you ever get any feedback from an actual human being — and is there a way to reach actual human beings at Google? Do they have any sort of process for the rest of us who are stuck to get ourselves reincluded? I know that’s a lot of questions, but you’ve given me new hope — yet I feel just as unsure what to do as ever.

No. I am quite _not_ the expert at SEO I wrote them the following email, which seems to have helped:

Hi,

http://wordlog.com is a website that is a normal weblog. I cannot figure out why it is not included in google, a year after it was started. I have emailed you before regarding this without success.

The initial response I got was that google thought it was a “link farm”. It might have been once before I bought the domain, and there is nothing I can do about that, at all.

Truth of the matter is that for the last year, I have been waiting patiently for google to index my website, just so that my hours of work, going into documenting WordPress, a popular web application will be useful to all users.

The website itself conforms to all of your webmaster guidelines. Please take a look at it, and allow it to be indexed. I will be grateful.

If something is wrong, please let me know. In any case, please do not ignore this request, as it was at least once previously. Anybody can see, with just one visit to the URL http://wordlog.com that it is nothing but a normal, popular website. A search on google returns a lot (>10000) links pointing to the website, but not the website itself.

Please help me out here. I am feeling really discouraged and disenchanted at the end of a year of writing online.
