Quicktags for Comments
Arvind reminds me that the comments template for 1.5 themes can use Quicktags for the comment-entry field. Makes it a lot easier for visitors to add links to their comments, besides other things.

It’s interesting how he’s duplicating a lot of WP features for MT.

I had no idea that the themes in WP 1.5 had those quicktags. I simply wrote that tutorial as more and more people wanted it!
If I’m right, so far I’ve only ported two things that were originally WordPress only, the Quicktags script and the WordPress suggest plugin. One can hardly include the Password Protection as the only thing that is really similar is the fact that a cookie is set!

Sorry to be dense, but I cant find out how to do this. I am using Kubrick as my theme, and cant find any reference to quicktags in my comments.php. I have combed the codex but to no avail.

Look at the source for brokencode’s Manji theme. Here’s a preview of how that theme uses Quicktags for comments
