Kubrick’s Typeface
The Kubrick theme should perhaps have made use of the Futura typeface, or something close, seeing as it’s mentioned that it was Kubrick’s favourite font.
Wikipedia amazes me, all the time.

Futura, not Future.

But Futura is no “screen readable” font (as Verdana, Lucida Grande or Bitstream Vera). If used for article text, it would be hard to read…

Trebuchet, while not too similar to Futura, is based on ideas of the same times. It’s available on most of the browser, it’s “almost” screen readable, it’s nice.
See “A List Apart” (alistapart.com) for an example of use.
I don’t know if Kubrick would have loved it, and I’m not sure about mixing Trebuchet text with Futura display…
