Huddlemasses made a plugin that does just this already a few months ago, and it is such that with a little editing, you can use it for just about any text on the page. It's great to see people writing plugins... I just wish there were more new ones and not ones that do the same things others do. Though it chokes on apostrophe's (replaces with \) and doesn't scale very well for long title names. Both of which can be worked around. I'll look into it after I get off work. The plugin is great.
