I saw you in my referrer logs. Thanks for the link and the comments.

WordPress has been an amazing system to work with and I have 3 more non-blog implementations coming in the next semester for other organizations on my campus.

You know how much I suck at CSS design -- or probably don't :)
Thanks for the clarification. I was never in doubt, and never thought i was cheated (that's a bad word), but the only restriction it imposes is that to change the color, I have to change the bg image. This is not a complaint, as much as an observation.
Thanks for all the work, Root :)

Well sadly there is no way to get that *it tiles all the way regardless of length behaviour* without the faux. A different specification would lead to a different solution. But this is what the gurus are doing for this situation. The solution of Dan Cederholm's is documented at alistapart. I would not want subsequent readers to think we had *cheated* in some way.

Thanks Root,

I was kind of surprised to find that the column is a faux-column in that it requires a tiled image, but other than that, everything's pretty :)
I have been thinking about starting this blog for a long, long time now. Hope it will be useful.

Wow. This is very spiffy. It is a breathtakingly simple but brilliant idea to have a WP blog about WP. Glad the Gemini template seems to be holding up. It's a beautiful design you have done with it. I do not know about being an *alpha user*. Complete addict might be more accurate, but thank you sincerely. Good luck. A triumph. :)
